All Armenta jewelry is handmade in Houston, Texas by a team of female artisans. The jewelry is manufactured to the highest quality standards with the utmost pride.  The following are the storing and cleaning methods the Armenta team recommends you use.

Storage
We recommend that any product should be stored in a closed, dry area—preferably that of a jewelry storage box. It should be laid on a soft surface. Any product should not be left in direct sunlight.

Old World
18 karat yellow gold and blackened or grey sterling silver
The sterling silver should never be polished. If needed to spot clean, wipe with soft damp cloth—do not scrub. We recommend the 18k gold to be cleaned with a mild non-abrasive soap or soft cleaning cloth. Oxidized sterling silver should never be immersed in any home ultrasonic cleaners or cleaning solutions. Because the blackened sterling silver is a black finish and not a black metal the color will wear with time and use. Any product with this finish should be sent back to Armenta’s studio to be refurbished.

Sueno
18 karat yellow gold (some artifact items are also comprised of bronze or brass)
We recommend to clean this with a mild non-abrasive soap with a soft  toothbrush or with a soft cleaning cloth.

New World
Sterling silver washed in Rhodium
We do not recommend polishing or cleaning New World jewelry. If needed to spot clean, wipe with soft damp cloth—do not scrub. Sterling silver with the rhodium finish should never be immersed in any home ultrasonic cleaners or cleaning solutions. The rhodium finish should not wear, however, if it does, it should be sent back to Armenta’s studio to be refurbished.

Multi-Layered Gemstones & Beads
We recommend to clean with a soft damp cloth or polishing cloth. Any jewelry with a stone should never be immersed in any home ultrasonic cleaners or cleaning solutions as it could damage the stone.
